Travis Kelce's new style has raised eyebrows on social media. 'Did he pay for the haircut?'

Travis Kelce has been mocked on social media and even compared to a scene from The Simpsons for wearing a daring new haircut in the Kansas City Chiefs' first game of the NFL season.

Kelce led the Chiefs to a 27-20 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, but it was what he did before the game that drew attention.

As the 34-year-old Chiefs tight end warmed up for the game sans a helmet, observers couldn't help but notice that Kelce had a thicker-than-usual moustache and a bowl cut.

The star's radical new style quickly sparked reactions and jokes on social media. One reader, referring to his connection with Swift, jokingly wrote:

"This is not a man who intends to be on the market again. Travis Kelce went to the barbershop, got in the chair,

and stated, "Give me the most awkward haircut you can think of to let the ladies know that THIS man isn't looking!"

Many people mentioned the character Uncle Rico from the 2004 movie Napoleon Dynamite,

played by Jonathan Gries, who has a very similar haircut and facial hair combination.
