Steph Curry drops clues about retirement from NBA after $62.6 million extension with Warrior

Steph Curry is staying with the Golden State Warriors for a longer period of time.   

The four-time NBA champion has agreed to a one-year extension contract worth an estimated $62.6 million USD, which would keep the talented shooter with the Warriors through 2026–2027.  

Curry recently won his first-ever gold medal at the Olympics. He will also join LeBron James, Paul George, and Kevin Durant as the fourth NBA player to earn more than $500 million USD in their careers.  

Curry will begin his 16th season. He averaged 26.4 points on 40.8% 3-point shooting, 5.1 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game in the 2023–24 NBA season.
