'Slaps' punishment for Lamine Yamal after breaching the rules, but Barcelona wonderkid gets no special treatment.

Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal may be a future superstar, but he is not receiving special treatment from demanding manager Hansi Flick.

Yamal, a precocious 17-year-old, has already changed the course of club and national history.

He made his senior Barcelona debut at 15, and went on to win a continental title with Spain at Euro 2024.

He is seen as a future Golden Boy and Ballon d'Or winner, and the youngster has already scored goals in 2024-25.

Yamal, on the other hand, will be treated the same as his Catalunya teammates, as he has already discovered to his cost.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Yamal was subjected to a “tunnel of slaps” after reporting late for a pre-training talk from German head coach Flick.

The former Bayern Munich manager has made it clear at the start of his reign that his rules are not to be broken.

Another “heavyweight” figure in the Barca dressing room is also said to have been disciplined after failing to turn up on time for training

The player in question, who overslept, was reportedly scolded in front of the rest of the squad.
