Kalen DeBoer Provides Major Injury Update

Alabama made an impressive start to the season, defeating Western Kentucky 63-0, but they did so without top left tackle Kadyn Proctor.

Proctor was ruled inactive prior to the game after injuring his shoulder during pre-game warmups.

On Monday morning, head coach Kalen DeBoer delivered some optimistic news from the platform, stating that Proctor is in a "shoulder situation".

"It is something we will be able to manage. It is something we will continue to assess throughout the week."

The Crimson Tide's redshirt sophomore Elijah Pritchett started at left tackle for the first time in his career.

He struggled throughout the game, finishing with a PFF grade of 48.6 and allowing three pressures and a sack in only 14 pass-blocking snaps.

The Crimson Tide probably don't need to rush Proctor back this week because they are huge home favorites again, this time against South Florida.

However, it would be good to have him back on the field next week when the team travels to Wisconsin.
