The find-and-seek challenge was created by Hungarian cartoonist Gergely Dudás, also known as Dudolf.
He has almost 168,000 Facebook followers, and he often shares his mind-bending artwork.
To divert puzzlers' attention away from their search for the mouse,
he depicted the squirrels with unusual facial expressions and grasping unexpected items such as acorns and fruit.
If you can see the mouse in less than 20 seconds, you have hawk-like vision. Set a timer to put your observation skills to the test and avoid missing any key clues.
Many users have confessed that they were stumped by the brainteaser and had to refer to the answer to discover the mouse.
"Oh no, I did not find him [sad face] but loved trying to find him!" One individual wrote on Facebook.
"I usually find them pretty quick but that squirrel with the teeth is so cute it had me distracted," said a different person.
