Cristiano Ronaldo declares himself'ready for the Nations League
Cristiano Ronaldo has emphatically stated that he is "ready for the Nations League"
as the Al-Nassr star prepares for Portugal duty amid retirement calls.
The Portuguese talisman still has the desire to perform at the greatest level and is eager to offer his best in the next Nations League matches over the international break.
Ronaldo subsequently stressed that he had no intention of leaving the Portuguese camp, saying, "It never crossed my mind that my cycle had come to an end."
However, following a dismal Euro 2024 campaign in which he failed to find the back of the goal, there were worries.
But Ronaldo swept aside his doubters ahead of the Nations League with an assertive social media post where the 39-year-old is seen leaving no stone unturned
Ronaldo shared a carousel of pictures and wrote a caption that read: "Ready for the Nations League! 🇵🇹".
Ronaldo will score his 900th career goal if he finds the net during the international break.
However, it will be just another milestone for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who has set his heart on scoring 1000 goals before hanging up
