Blueberry Banana Bread

Banana bread is a basic recipe, but when you add fresh blueberries to it, you get an extremely delicious treat that your friends and family will enjoy.

As I've previously stated, my children consume bananas at a rapid pace, and it's uncommon that we have any left over by the end of the week.

If I want to cook or bake with bananas, I need to hide them so they don't be devoured right away!

This blueberry banana bread is a favorite in our house; banana bread is a classic treat in and of itself, but this variation takes it to the next level with a generous amount of blueberries.

This blueberry banana bread recipe is similar to the majority of banana bread recipes, but with a few key differences.

A considerable number of fresh blueberries are added to the mixture, along with yogurt for moisture.

You may also use frozen blueberries in this recipe, but they will likely turn the batter purple as they melt into the mixture.

To prevent the blueberries from sinking to the bottom of the bread, toss them in a little flour before adding them to the mixture.

While I enjoy this bread with simply blueberries and bananas, you can make it your own by customizing it.
