Actor Arjun Bijlani signs all of his contracts on Tuesdays because he believes so strongly in Bappa.
He claims he believes in "Bappa so much that even if it's urgent, it has to be on a Tuesday".
And it's no wonder that he celebrates Ganesh Chathurthi enthusiastically. "This is my 22nd year celebrating Ganesh Chathurthi" , declares the actor. He further states,
"My dad used to bring Ganpati home and after he passed away, I have continued the tradition."
Bijlani used to commute to Siddhivinayak, Dadar, every Tuesday from Mahim, Mumbai, where he lived with his parents.
"Even after moving to Andheri (a little farther away from Dadar), I continued the habit. Chal kar bhi gaye hain Siddhi Vinayak, bahut baar.
Back then, I would queue up because no one knew me and pray or simply experience the vibe there.
People lose their path after losing a parent, and when I lost my father, I turned to Bappa. I have a deep connection with him, and it has grown stronger each year," he says.
